You get yourself some lead pencils and a good eraser.  Then you buy yourself
a very good pencil sharpener.  (Round metal ones with three holes can be
purchased in any art store.)  Then get yourself a sketch pad that is easy to
carry around where ever you go.  Not too big.  Get a clip board, they do
help.  Or use a sketch book, not too big.  Carry the pencils, eraser, pencil
sharpener, and sketch book or pad with you where ever you go.

People who want to learn to draw everything carry sketch pads and pencils
where ever they go.  Then where ever you go, draw everything.  Look at
something you want to draw and imagine it shrunk down on your paper.  Or just
draw a piece of it on your paper. For instance, draw just the shoelace part
of your shoe.  

Look at each drawing as practice.  If it is not drawn exactly, do not worry.
It does not have to be exact.  It is just practice.  Pretty soon, after about
20 pictures, you start getting better.  If you want to get wild, add your own
imaginings or designs to it.  Add letters of interesting shapes.  Distort the
image to suit your mood.  If you are drawing a smile, add a wart.  If you are
drawing a chair, break a leg. 

Change reality the way you want.  Or draw the image as exactly as you can.
You are the artist, and anything is correct in art.  Draw a landscape, or a
watch.  Draw a wrinkled-up piece of paper, or your own hand.

Sharpen your pencils when you need to.  Learn to erase well.  Don't ever be
disappointed in anything you draw--make that a rule.  Just turn the page and
draw something else if you don't like your last piece.  And draw where ever
you go.
